Educational Websites:

1. The Best on the Web
- Finding sources on the web that are helpful in educational settings is sometimes hard. There are so many sites to chose from! This website has combed through them and tries to help the teachers only go to the ones that are legitimate and beneficial. I think I will start checking this site before I Google anything else!

2.Pinterest
- Pinterest is the best thing that has happened to the Web since Google. It is a sight where you can go and search or look at virtually anything! I think it will be a great tool when I am a teacher, because there are tons of ideas on how to organize your room and there are so many fun projects you can do with your kids! Plus, there are yummy recipes you could make for them!

3. Thinkfinity
-This site has hundreds of lesson plans for every age of teaching! On top of that, it has lots of fun things like links to teacher blogs, good videos you can use in class, or smaller things like "today in history." I think it will be a great tool when planning units or finding way to spice up the school required curriculum!

4. Story Bird
-This would be a great literature tool. Anyone can make their own books with illustrations and then use them to read to the class. There is even the option of buying the book you created! If you had a budget, creating books for parents around Christmas time would be a great way to use this website!

5. Education.com
-Education.com is a great place for ideas within the realm of teaching. There are worksheets you can use, lesson ideas, and lots of helpful videos that can be used within the classroom.

6. Prezi
-Prezi is a new spin on powerpoints. It allows you to make presentations more interesting, even letting you put videos directly into the presentation instead of following a link. I think this is useful for teachers who get stuck doing the same presentations and need a new look on how to present information in their classes.

7. Puzzlemaker
-Puzzles are great transition tools, lesson objectives, and even introductory ice breakers! This website is a free and easy way to make puzzles of all types for your classroom!

8. Jeopardy Labs
- Playing Jeopardy within the classroom can be used as a review for a test or simply a fun game! With your email and customized password, teachers can create Jeopardy games on this website. They enter the information they want the players to be asked, and the website does the rest! Easy!

9. Glogster
- Glogster seems like it would liven up the classrooms very much! You can make interactive posters on any subject you want! This would be useful in going through the beginning of the year criteria, which can get boring. Glogster would liven it up!

10. Alphabet Soup
-Alphabet soup has tons of options for teachers! It is geared towards elementary teachers, and you can find activities and fun ideas for almost anything! They are categorized, so it is easy to find what you are looking for!

11. Handwriting for Kids
-This website has tons of worksheets you can use when you are trying to have your students practice handwriting. They have left handed and right handed exercises and also have sign language and cursive practices pages as well!
