Shakespeare Online
A better name for this website could not have been found! Shakespeare Online is just what its name says. Students can go and read poems, novels, and other works by this famous author. This is helpful for students who may not have bought the book, or misplaced it before they were finished reading the assignment. One of the best things about this website is that it gives the students a better understanding of Shakespeare with the analyses of his writings, and it also gives translations of the Old English that was used during the time. It also has teacher helps online, with quizzes and information for the teacher to use to help her students better understand this famous play write!

Fact Monster
Fact Monster is a great website for younger students who would want help finding information about a given topis. The website is very easy to navigate and students will have a lot of fun learning to to look up and find information. Fact Monster has a timeline, almanac, atlas, dictionary, and and encyclopedia. This website can also be used as extra help for students who need to be accountable for their homework. My favorite fact about this website is that it has games and quizzes that, as a teacher, I can use within my classroom!

KidsKnowIt.com
KidsKnowIt.com is an educational website that allows for students to practice skills they are learning in the classroom. What I really liked about this website is that it is colorful and easy to navigate. This website has activites for math, science, biology, reading, and history. It also has links to other websites that can be helpful for teachers to use in addition to their current curriculum and this websites. KidsKnowIt.com is valuable to me because I can use it in my classroom as a help to students who maybe struggling. I can also use it as a reward for students.

FreeTranslation.com
This website is great for those who plan to work with ELL students and with their parents. This website allows the teacher to translate any text, book, or worksheet into the language of the students. You can also translate the whole website you are wanting the students to use. This will allow for more ELL student interaction with the content as they are learning the language. This will also give them confidence to talk with the other students because they now know what they is going on in the classroom.

HowStuffWorks.com
This website is great for your curious students who keep asking the questions "Why?" and "How?". Students can come to the website and learn about how things are made, they can learn about natural phenomenon and
they can learn how to create their own items. The students can use this website for research, and they can also use it for presentations. As a teacher, you too, can use this website for introducing a science lesson or you can use the videos as recaps or for a fun science lesson that does not need to be taught by you. It is such an easy to navigate website yet, I do not believe you will ever view all the materials available to you.

Starfall.com
Starfall.com is a reading website for students from kindergarten to second grade. Students can use this free website to enhance their reading and phonics skills. Starfall does a lot of different things when it comes to learning the different skills. There are books being read to students, phonics games that teach phonomes and sound combinations. There are also links for students to learn about seasons, days of the week, the calandar and much more! What I really loved about this website is that it is very student friendly and very hands-on. I will use this website in my classroom for students to work on skills that are necessary for reading!

ScienceMadeSimple
ScienceMadeSimple.com is a website completely devoted to helping the teacher, student, and parent make the most out of the science projects that students have to do every year. This website gives ideas for projects as well as help tips to make learning about science more fun. There are articles on this website for teachers to read to gain a better understanding of the topic they are teaching on. Teachers can also use these articles within their classroom for students to read for knowledge on a science topic. One of my favorite things about this site, is that there are videos for teachers to use within their classroom. Students are so visual oriented that it would be a great idea for teachers to use videos to help keep students interested in science.

PBSKids.org has a ton of reading interactions for students. The students can pick from a variety of shows to help them develop reading. The one that I interacted with was In Between the Lions. This website was materials for students to read along with as well as worksheets and games that will help them improve their reading skills. The stories are read out loud and the words are written on the bottom of the screen for the student to follow along with. What I really loved about the books being read out loud was that it was not slow or methodical. The stories are read at a good pace and the illustrations are made to come alive and move. This will benefit students because it is entertaining and makes listening and reading a story fun. I also really found the games to be beneficial. The games all work on reading skills and process skills that all enhance reading. Matching, categories, opposites, matching, blending, and synonyms are just a few of the strategies the students are working on.

On the website, the parents are given options for the age of their student; they are also given many options as to what help they are looking for. The categories they can select are school, life, entertainment, and special needs. The school category presents parents with what to expect for their students in school. There are content quizzes.
